waiting...waiting...

but not going to assume anything. i sent them a thank-you note. that was probably a good move. but still waiting.

b and i went to state fair today. great day. did a lot of walking around the grounds. ate fatty foods. brats. corn with butter and salt. sundaes with real strawberries or cherries. venicen jerkey. crawfish (yeuch). elephant ear (yum). laughed at all the infomercial people in the shopping area. looked at some student artwork, craft displays, photography. lots of walking, mostly. saw moo cows and clydesdales and sheep and bunnies and chickens and roosters and ducks and geese. saw baby japanese pheasants (only 1 inch tall!) saw ian and tried his aunt's goat cheese samples. yummy.

now i have a "been in the sun too long" headache. but it was worth it...especially for only a dollar admission cost.
