Reflections on the first week...

So the first full week is almost over. I really need to work on getting up a bit earlier in the morning. Otherwise, it's okay.

My 1st and 5th periods are awesome. 2nd and 8th have something to be desired. 6th is bad. They're just talkative! And won't listen! Need to research some creative classroom management techniques. And re-do seats (although it doesn't help when the students randomly get up and walk across the room to talk to someone). Creative classroom management. Creative classroom...bah, detentions! D'oh! Creative...classroom...management. Grrrrr....

BTW, I have 4 "9 Lab Science" classes and 1 "9 Science Survey" class. Survey is remedial. Guess which is my 6th hour...WRONG! It's my freaking 9 Lab students. Bastards.
